Starting out as a mid-distance runner at UCLA, Coach Tony Veney now works in the world of speed & hurdling. Over 40 years of experience world wide have given Veney excellent experiences to share with the athletes at UCLA, Portland State, U of Oregon, Ventura CC, & now Antelope Valley CC. Veney also took his coaching talents to China to broaden his knowledge. He is very active in USATF Coaches Education at all levels and has a book on sprinting/hurdling coming out soon.

When you think of collegiate distance programs, Arkansas jumps toward the top of the list. Coach Harter had led & maintained this dominance over the years. He opens his treasure chest to give you ideas on how to do the same.
When you have a track named after you, do you retire & rest on your past? Coach Lance Harter doesn't act that way! Recently retired from NCAA coaching, he has a professional group of post-collegiate distance runners to train for the next level. Harter's squads have won 7 NCAA team titles & 45 conference awards. Coming from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Harter set a high standard there winning 10 Coach of the Year awards & 19 Division II National team titles.
At Arkansas, he's been selected D 1 Coach of the Year 46 times & been selected to Team USA staffs, including the 1992 USA Women's Olympic staff.
Starting his sixth season at Kennesaw State, Coach Mike Judge has led their throwing squad to unmatched success. Athletes he coached have dominated the throwing events at the conference levels. Coming from a strong club background in Georgia, athletes on his team earned over 200 high school certificates.
One of his throwers has developed into one of the world's top hammer throwers and was on the 2020 USA Olympic team. Coach Judge has won several coaching awards & is very active in USATF Coaches Education.

Rachel McCoy is a late bloomer to the sport of track & field. She won 2 California high school high jumps state titles, but then focused on basketball. After placing 4 at the 2014 World Juniors, she came back to track & field full time. During her short career, she's made several Team USA squads and was on the 2020 USA Olympic team. She also made the USA World Indoor & Outdoor squads in 2022.
In the 2022 Outdoor Worlds, she missed making the finals by 1 attempt at the qualifying height and was the top USA finisher. Her recent success was winning the 2023 Pan Am Games high jump championship in early November. She's now focusing toward Paris 2024.
